  • Offers students an understanding and critique of the political, cultural, and economic models that dominate global society;
  • Studies the changing relationships between humans and the environment at local, regional, and global scales;
  • Provides students the opportunity to live and study outside North America;
  • Prepares students to continue their studies on a doctoral level.
  • Provides students the option of pursuing an 18-hour concentration in Geography;
  • Engages students in current research and scholarship in geography and allied disciplines.
