View Your Financial Aid Award
Students enrolled at DSU should check the following information to ensure student financial aid funds have been disbursed into the DSU Student Account for fee payment and for refund check purposes before coming to Kent Wyatt Hall to pick up a refund check.
Students with Perkins Loans should make sure all applicable Promissory Notes have been signed. Promissory Notes can be signed in the Student Business Services located in Kent Wyatt Hall.
Make sure your student financial aid funds have actually disbursed into the DSU Student Account and you have a credit (refund balance) before coming to pick up your refund check.
If a credit/refund balance is available it may be picked up at Student Business Services.
Check your financial award online at myDSU!
1. Go to MY DSU
2. Login using your User id and Password
3. Go to the Student Services and Financial Aid Section
4. Click on Financial Aid
5. Click on MY Award Information
6. Click on Award by Aid Year
(Click on Award Payment Schedule for Amounts by Term) or
(Click on Loan Application History for Loan Amounts)
7. Select Aid Year 11-12
The amount of aid you have been offered for Fall 2011 and/or
Spring 2012 will be listed.
Refund Balance
Do you have a refund balance? Double-check your student account for a refund balance or credit. If a refund is available it may be received at Student Business Services in Kent Wyatt Hall.
Transferring your aid to DSU?
You are not required to file another FAFSA application, but you will these documents:
- Student Aid Report copy
Check your records for a copy at home or call 1-800-433-3243 to request a copy. No financial aid may be awarded without this document. - DSU Supplemental Award Form
Complete this form available for printing or at the Financial Aid office in Kent Wyatt Hall. No financial aid may be awarded without this document.
Attention! Student loans do not transfer among colleges. The loan you received at another school will not be sent to DSU. Please apply for a new loan. The school code may be necessary: 002403
