Hi I'm Sarah Boyles, a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi. My employment at Delta State began in 1989 in the Office of Telecommunications. Since 2005 I have worked in the Graduate Office. I really enjoy the opportunity to be in contact with students and help them in their admissions process.
I have been honored by Delta State by receiving the "Staff Employee of the Month" award twice. I have no pets at home but I have a "grand-dog" name Gumbo. I love riding on the back of my husband's motorcycle, my legs are too short to be the driver!

Hi I’m Elizabeth Joel and I serve as one of the Coordinators for Continuing Education. I had the pleasure of joining the staff at Delta State in 2010. I work with the community and DSU faculty and staff to establish non-credit personal enrichment courses and summer camps for children and adults of all ages. I also work with several departments around the campus to establish credit courses each semester that will be offered through our department. Courses offered through Winter and Spring Intersession are also coordinated through our office. I also work as the Liaison for the Coahoma County Higher Education Center to assist the Director, Jen Waller, in marketing and growing the amount of credit courses offered at this branch campus.
Stop by our webpage sometime and check out what non-credit classes we have to offer you this month. Whether you are interested in learning about art, computer programs, grant writing, dancing, exercise classes, or if you would like to send your child to one of our kids colleges or athletic camps, we are sure to have something that your family can enjoy! Have an idea about a class? Call me and we will find a way to get it started!

Hi I'm Marilyn Read. I am one of the Coordinators for Continuing Education. I started my career at Delta State in 2002 in the Institutional Research department. I moved to Graduate and Continuing Studies in 2003 and have served in several positions within the department.
As a Continuing Education Coordinator, I work closely with area universities and community partners to expand the knowledge of continuing education opportunities available through the division. Specifically, I coordinate the travel based for credited courses, on campus credit courses in specific content areas, Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits and Independent Study courses. I am also the liaison for the Greenville Higher Education Center, a satellite campus in Greenville, Mississippi.
