Each year students must complete the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). This application will ask questions about the income of the parents and student, the size of the family, and assets. The application can be submitted online. Student Aid Report (SAR)
Once all required documents are received by Delta State, the student will be notified with an award letter of how much grant, loan, or work study they can receive. |
MTAG and MESG scholarship awards are made by the Mississippi Office of Student Financial Aid. You must apply online each year by September 15. It is recommended that you apply prior to June 1. Delta State University is proud to recognize students who have achieved academic excellence. We offer a variety of competitive scholarships including: ACT, National Merit finalist and semi-finalist, Valedictorian, Salutatorian, Phi Theta Kappa, and privately funded. All students must be admitted to the University to be considered for scholarships. The scholarship application requires a resume, essay, and a completed FAFSA. There are two scholarship application deadlines for the fall semester - the priority deadline is December 15 and the regular deadline is March 1. All supporting documents must be submitted for scholarship consideration.
