SEVIS I-901 fee (F-1 visa fee)

There is a fee that must be paid before you schedule your visa appointment.  The SEVIS I-901 fee is required for: 

• all new F-1 visa applicants and
• for those students renewing their visa if their I-20 was issued after September 1, 2004.
