Indirect Cost Rate Agreement:
46% of salaries and benefits - On-Campus
19% of salaries and benefits - Off-Campus
Off-campus definition: For all activities performed in facilities not owned by DSU and to which rent is directly allocated to the project, the off-campus rate will apply. Grants or contracts will not be subject to more than one cost rate. If more than 50% of a project is performed off-campus, the off-campus rate will apply to the entire project.
DSU's cost rate agreement is with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
Rate of Benefits
30.5% of salaries for employees
The University does not pay benefits for students who are employed; therefore, no benefits are to be calculated for student workers, graduate assistants, etc.
