Class Notes January 20101930’s 1936 Ruth Garner, of Eupora, is one of our oldest living alumnus of Delta State.
Garner 1950’s 1958 James W. Ramage Ph.D., of Northport, AL, recently published the book Creating Therapeutic Actitity Plans in Long Term Care Facilities: The Basic Principles.

1960’s 1961 Dr. Gerald Crawford, of Florence, was selected as the 2009 Alumnus of the Year at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Crawford 1990’ 1992 Dr. Steven Clark, of Cleveland, MS has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. The distinction recognizes achievement in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care. 2000’s 2001 Kathleen Walker, of Somerville, TN is the owner of Tennessee Pewter in Somerville,TN. Jason Umfress, of Central, SC, was recently hired as the Dean of Students at Coker College. Umfress 2005 Pete Golding, of Hammond, LA, has been named the new defensive coordinator for the Delta State Statesmen.
Golding 2007 Mary Claire Kinnison, of Jackson, was hired by Cellular South as a scholastic and sports marketing specialist.
Kinnison 2009 Casey Harlow, of Grenada, has been hired by Delta State University as a recruiter for the Greater Jackson Area.
