Theft

Should a resident discover an item has been stolen, IMMEDIATELY report all detailed information to your resident assistant, the Residence Hall Director, and the DSU Police Department in Bailey 105.

The University cannot purchase insurance to cover the theft, loss, or damage to personal property and cannot accept responsibility for missing or damaged articles. Check to be sure your parent’s homeowners insurance covers your personal belongings. Housing and Residence Life will provide Personal Property Insurance information.
