Dr. WW (Wimp) Nichols received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on arterial structure and function as it relates to cardiovascular diseases at the University of Cambridge in Cambridge, England, on September 9, 2009.

Jimmy Junkin, of Boerne, TX, was recently awarded by the San Antonio Business Journal, the 2009 Best CFO Lifetime Achievement Award.

Kevin W. Cox, of Cleveland, was recently selected as the Conoco/Phillips Volunteer of the Year at the Mississippi Swimming Banquet held in Jackson.

Dr. Heather Hawthorne, MD, has completed her residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and has begun a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at UAB in Birmingham, AL.

Stephanie M. Eddleman, PhD, was awarded a PhD in English from the University of Mississippi, and has been promoted to Assistant Professor of English at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Jamie Hudson, of Yazoo City, was recently elected President of the Junior Auxiliary of Yazoo City, and also her business Tickled Pink, was named Salon of the 2009 Year for the 5th consecutive year.
2007
Pamela D. Tucker, of Beulah, recently completed her M.A. in Teaching and Learning with Technology from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa. She also accepted a position as math specialist at Coahoma Community College and was recognized last year as teacher of the year for West Bolivar High School by the Cleveland Chamber of Commerce.
