Delta State vs. Florida Institute of Technology


DSU Band Day is an opportunity for community college students, high school students, and band alumni to join with the "Pride of the Delta" and our Alumni for a day.  This includes winds, percussion, color guard, dancers, and drum majors. Students will be able to show off their talents by participating at halftime, performing stand tunes, and playing the famous Darkness on the Delta.

  • Attire for the event is the 2013 Band Day T-shirt (provided at registration), khaki shorts and tennis shoes.
  • Wind players are encouraged to use flip folders.

11:30 am

Check-in/Register - Football Practice Field (starred on campus map)

12:00 – 1:30 pm

Rehearsal (Football Practice Field), get seating assignments in the stadium

1:30-2:30

Playing rehearsal under the trees by the stadium

Move to Statesmen Park for the Pep Rally

Pizza and Drinks / Free time - Zeigel Hall (#24 on campus map)

Line up in BPAC parking lot (#17 on campus map) to march over to the stadium

Although you are welcome and encouraged to stay for the entire game, you are free to leave after halftime to accommodate those of you who have further to travel.
