Class Notes October 20091950’s 1951 Joe Floyd, of Kodiak, AK, was voted most popular “local celebrity”, by online readers of the Kodiak Daily Mirror. 1960’s 1963 James Donald Cooper, of Boyle, was elected Board of Alderman for the Town of Boyle, MS. 1970’s 1975 Greely Myatt, of Memphis, recently had his art work on display celebrating twenty years of Greely Myatt’s career in Memphis in the Memphis Brooks Art Museum. 1976 David Abney, of Cumming, GA, was elected to the Board of Directors of Johnson Controls.
Abney 1980’s 1986 Charles Pass, of Cleveland, received the HERO award for the month of September at Mississippi State Hospital (MSH).
Pass 1990’s 1991 Wayne Ray, of Jackson, was recently promoted to Director of the Title Bureau at Mississippi State Tax Commission.
Ray 1996 Marti Shannon Green, of Olive Branch, is a property manager with Prologis Industrial Property Company of Memphis.
Green 2000’s 2000 Les Range, of Jackson, was recently appointed by Gov. Haley Barbour as executive director of the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
Range 2008 Stephen Bush, of Greenville, was recently appointed to the position of Director of Bands at Washington School in Greenville, MS.
