Jimmy Mumford, of Leland, received two awards of distinction honors after entering the 15th Annual Communicator Competition.
Dr. Ryan Akers, of Starkville, is a research associate and instructor in the School of Human Sciences at MSU, also he received the Southern Association for College Student Affairs Dissertation of the Year award.
Serena Clark, of Madison, has been appointed by Gov. Haley Barbour to the Mississippi EdNet Institute that oversees the development of instructional television service throughout the state.
