In Memoriam July 2009

Ruth C. Bobo ‘40, on June 22, 2009.  Mrs. Bobo, was married to James Edward Bobo on December 22, 1940.  Mrs. Bobo was a teacher for many years and was a Sunday School teacher also.   She played the organ a Gunnison Baptist Church and also Gunnison Methodist Church.  She was a member of the daughters of the Confederacy and the Country Women of the World. Mrs. Bobo was a past president of the Delta State Alumni Association and was selected Alumnus of the Year.  Survivors include her daughter Carol of Gunnison, granddaughter Gaye Holechek, grandson Jason Campbell, and great-grandson, Gary Holecek, and one great-granddaughter Emily Holececk.
