Fioranelli 1969: Joe Versen, of York, South Carolina, has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce for 2009.
Versen 1970s 1974: David Bradberry, of Clinton, MS, was named as the Assistant Director of the Mississippi High School Activities Association in Clinton. 1976: Les Warren, of Beaumont, TX, received Lamar University’s Julie and Ben Rogers Community Service Award for Volunteer Service to the community and university. 1980s 1980: Phyllis F. Waldron, of Sherwood, Arkansas, recently won 2nd place in a writing contest sponsored by The Arkansas Writers Conference and had a short story published in Between the Lines, a regional literary magazine. 1984: Lenagene Waldrup, of Drew, MS, was recognized in the Bolivar Commercial for taking the arts to the children. 1990s 1993: Amanda Holder, of Cleveland, MS, was recently selected as the 2009 Teacher of the Year by A.W. James Elementary School in Drew, MS. 1998: Christopher J. M Cummins, of Ripley, MS, is serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserved and is currently stationed in Bagram, Afghanistan. 1999: Mandy Gardner, of Brandon, MS, was recognized in the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the Top 40 under 40 in the State of Mississippi.
Gardner 2000s 2004: Chad Smith, of Centralia, KS, was hired by Heinen Bothers Agricultural Co.
Smith 2005: Dr. Margie Pulley, of Greenwood, MS, is the new Superintendent of the Greenwood Public School District.
