Bryce Griffis, of Starkville, was induced into the Mississippi Business Hall of Fame which recognizes leaders for significant contribution to the growth & development in the state. It’s sponsored by Junior Achievement.

Linda Collins, of Cleveland, was presented the Betty Robbins Volunteer of the Year Award for Region 3 by the National Association of Junior Auxiliary’s at its national conference in Birmingham.

Dr. Sammy Lee Felton, of Anniston, AL, is Superintendent of Schools in Anniston, AL, and was the guest speaker at Kappa Alpha Psi Founders Day Celebration in Greenville.

Ms. Donnely Warren Jackson, of Manard, AR, received the Educational Leadership Award at the Convocation of Scholars banquet at Arkansas State University.

Clifton Griffin, of College Station, TX, was named Director of Research and Graduate Studies at Texas A&M at Qatar, TX.

Russell Robertson, of Greenwood, was named Vice President of Human Resources for Staplcotn in Greenwood.

Matthew Plitt, of Memphis, TN, accepted a position with RiceCo LLC based in Memphis, TN.

Rodney Martin, of Cleveland, led Bayou Academy Colts to a second straight private school Class A state baseball championship.

Gwendolyn Page, of Meridian, was the keynote speaker at the Women in Science, Construction and Technology conference.

(’02 & ’07) Dr. Randy Grierson, of Cleveland, was named Outstanding Strength Coach of the Year by the All American Football Foundation.

Dr. Mark Timothy Barron, of Jackson, graduated from University of Mississippi Medical Center and will begin his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

Dr. Justin Myles Simmons, formerly of Cleveland, graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine And Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, MO. Dr. Simmons’ surgical residency is at Genesis Regional Medical Center in Grand Rapids, MI.

Jessica K. Walker recently accepted a position with Primetime Advertising in Gulfport, MS.
Brent Leach, of Brandon, has been promoted to Double A minor league baseball and is currently playing for the Jacksonville Suns within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization.
Will Crump, of Washington D.C., was promoted to Legislative Assistant in Sen. Thad Cochran’s office.
