Lynn Fletcher Shurden, of Drew, has been named director of the Bolivar County Library System.

Charlie Wright, of Olive Branch, was inducted into Pillow Academy’s inaugural Sports Hall of Fame.

Ann Bassi Minyard, of Alpharetta, GA, is the director of Application Support and technical training with Immucor, a medical equipment company in Atlanta.

Mark Williams, of Cleveland, was elected president of Cleveland/Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Scott Nelson, of Cleveland, is a family physician who was elected President of the National Association of Medical Communicators.

Donald W. Tassin, of Petal, has been promoted to vice president and branch manager of the Bancorp South main office in Petal.
