Degree Requirements

Candidates for the MBA degree through the iMBA program are required to meet the following criteria:

1.  Fulfill the general requirements for a graduate degree at Delta State University.

2. Applicants lacking prerequisite courses as specified in the iMBA admission requirements, or a 3.0 overall undergraduate G.P.A. will be required to take the below listed Foundation courses:        

    • MBA 515 - Managerial Accounting and Finance
    • MBA 525 - Management Theory and Business Law
    • MBA 535 - Theory of Economics and Marketing
    • MBA 545 - Statistics and Information Systems
    Students taking these foundation courses must earn a grade point average of 3.0 with no grade less than a “C”.  

3.   Complete the following three modules (30 credit hours total) - Financial Strategy (9 hours), Operational Strategy (9 hours) and Strategic Planning (Emphasis) Module (12 hours) with a 3.0 grade point average and no grade less than a “C”.
