DMI Recording Services
The Delta Music Institute is pleased to offer affordable high quality audio recording services for DSU and surrounding communities. These recording services offer DMI students an opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have gained through their DMI course work under the supervision of professional faculty members. This type of opportunity will offer clients an exceptional recording experience along with a substantial savings over commercial studio rates. Requests for any of the DMI Recording Services must be initiated by email or hard copy to the DMI offices.

Policies
Upon receipt of request, DMI personnel will contact client within 5 working days to set up a pre-production meeting by phone or in person with a DMI engineer.
During the pre-production meeting, the DMI engineer and client will agree upon estimated time and budget for the recording project and schedule session time(s). DMI requires a deposit of 50% of budget estimate three working days before recording begins, with the balance to be paid at completion of the project. Audio files will be released to client upon full payment. Checks should be made payable to Delta Music Institute. Any exceptions to this policy will be at the discretion of the DMI Director.

Recording sessions may be scheduled any day of the week that the University is in operation, as long as sessions do not conflict with DMI classes.
