DSU and SunGard Higher Education are pleased to introduce the 24/7 OIT Help Desk

Same number, enhanced services!  Beginning Thursday, August 9 2007, dialing the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Help Desk(extension 4444 on campus and 1-866-264-1465 toll free off campus)will connect you directly to the new and enhanced 24/7 OIT  Help Desk.  This service will provide the DSU community with immediate access to a qualified team of support professionals trained to resolve technology issues specific to the Delta State community.  These professionals will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and will work closely with the on site SunGard OIT team to address your technology needs.  The help desk serves as your first point of contact for support needs including account and password information, report requests, Blackboard CE6 support, and desktop troubleshooting to name just a few.  Calls will be automatically escalated to the SunGard DSU OIT team for resolution if they are unable to resolve your request in a timely manner. OIT continues to house its main offices in Bailey Hall, including user services, administrative services, network services, telecommunications, instructional technology, web services and AV/Media checkout.  If your need is not Help Desk related, please contact our OIT offices at 662-846-4760 and we will be happy to assist you.  We appreciate your patience as we strive to enhance the technology support environment for Delta State University.
