The Dell Corporation offers discounts on computers purchased by faculty, staff and students for their own use. For more information visit the Dell Website for Delta State University and review the bundles especially designed for Delta State or you can choose items from the full Dell catalog that work within your budget and academic needs. 
Apple Computers Apple Computer, Inc. offers discounts on computers and other Apple products purchased by faculty, staff, and students for their own use. For more information visit the Apple Store for Education.
Key Points:
- Operating System Tips: If choosing a Windows based machine, make sure you choose the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System. Vista is not yet compatible with many campus applications. Windows XP Home Edition should be upgraded to Windows XP Professional.
- Delivery: Your computer will be delivered to your home or specified location. OIT is not involved in the acquisition, scheduling, or support for your new equipment.
- Support: All technical support for products is provided by the vendor. OIT staff is not authorized to work on personal computers.
