Collaborative ActivitiesWe actively support the following projects and initiatives: Teach Mississippi Institute TMI is an eight-week summer institute at Delta State University which carries twelve semester hours of college credit (CUR 612-Development, Assessment, and Evaluation; CSD 614-Methods of Instruction in Secondary Schools; CSP 546-Advanced Survey of Exceptional Children; and CUR 611-Classroom Management) that can be used toward a master’s degree And A one-year internship which carries six semester hours of college credit (CUR 650-Diminsions of Learning/Internship) that can be used toward a master's degree. Delta Education Initiative Undergraduate Scholarship Program The goal of the Delta Education Initiative Undergraduate Scholarship Program is to recruit students into teacher education at Delta State University who will teach in the schools of the Delta region.
