The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, is a non-profit, professional, small business assistance service funded by Delta State University, the U. S. Small Business Administration, and the Mississippi Small Business Development Centers. The program is designed to provide assistance to individuals interested in starting a small business and with business planning, financial analysis, management, and marketing for existing business. Services are provided at little or no cost. Our service area covers thirteen counties in the Delta region of Mississippi. These counties include Bolivar, Carroll, Coahoma, Grenada, Humphries, Issaquena, Leflore, Quitman, Sharkey, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tunica, and Washington. The mission of the Delta State University Small Business Development Center is to help small businesses in the Mississippi Delta grow and prosper.
