All woodwinds are invited to pursue their studies at Delta State — majors, music minors, and students in other majors who wish to continue their musical studies by participating in ensembles and lessons.

Woodwind Area Faculty
 Dr. Andrea Cheeseman, single and double reeds, is Assistant Professor of Woodwinds at Delta State University. In addition to studio teaching, Cheeseman coaches woodwind chamber ensembles and teaches courses in woodwind methods and music appreciation. [more]
 Dr. Shelley Collins, flute, is Assistant Professor of Flute and Music History. She teaches flute, music appreciation, music history, and the history of rock and roll, and conducts the DSU Flute Ensemble. [more]
