Dr. Maud Kuykendall

Dr. Kuykendall received her Doctor of Education degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado and her Master of Education degree in Special Education from the University of Mississippi. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Art from Georgia State University.
Dr. Kuykendall began her career as a supervisor in a sheltered workshop in Jackson, Mississippi.. Her career in working with children and adults encompasses serving as a director for an infant/toddler center to a director of a senior citizen center. She has 10 years of experience as a special education teacher in K-12 settings. For the seven years prior to joining the faculty at Delta State University, she provided special education services in a public charter school that included grades 8 through 12. She began her college career and has been on the faculty of Delta State University since 2004.
