21 hours -Endorsement in Mild/Moderate Special Education K-8 (223) for those who already holding a standard A license in elementary

Prospective elementary education teachers may take the 21 hour sequence while enrolled in the BSE in elementary education. This option will count as one of the required endorsements in elementary education degree program.

 

Teachers who have completed an undergraduate degree in elementary education may enter directly in to the M.Ed. in special education or may take the 21 hour sequence to receive endorsement to an A license. This 21 hour sequence is a K-8 endorsement. The M.Ed. leads to an AA license in special education: mild/moderate disabilities, K-12.
