Academic Advising for Psychology Majors

Academic advising is mandatory for Psychology majors. All Psychology majors are assigned an advisor. The advisor list is posted below as well as in the Psychology suite on the third floor of Ewing Hall. Students must see their assigned advisor prior to registering for courses. Advisors will have sign-up sheets posted outside of their offices a week before pre-registration. Students must sign-up for an appointment no later than 3:00 P.M. the day prior to the scheduled meeting. There is no online or phone advising. Students are responsible for updating their psychology program of study sheet and bringing a tentative list of courses to their advising appointment.

Students are responsible for being sure they have met all graduation requirements. Students must familiarize themselves with the DSU Undergraduate Bulletin under which they registered as a Psychology major.
