The Community Counseling Program is a sixty (60) semester hour Master’s Degree that prepares students for employment in the community, private practice, or agency mental health field. This program also provides academic preparation for licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) in the State of Mississippi and National Certification (NCC).
Admission Requirements
A baccalaureate degree from an institution fully accredited by one of the recognized accrediting agencies.
An overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or 3.00 or higher on the last 64 hours of required course work.
Appropriate scores on the CAAP, or equivalent test scores.
