As a member of the DSU faculty/staff, we encourage you to utilize the services and programs offered by Career Services.  We serve as your source for professional development for you and your professional & student staff. Several programs have been designed with you in mind:

• Don't Cancel Class Program - DSU Career Services understands that faculty schedules are very hectic.  Between class preparation, student advising, research, family obligations and participation in professional organizations, missing class may sometimes be unavoidable.  When these situations arise, our "Don’t Cancel Class program" provides faculty and staff members with a series of career related presentation options designed to assist in preparing students for the work world. 

• WorkStudy/RSE/GA - Email us and we'll help you find students for work-study, RSE, GA's and Part-Time Clerical.  Include any specifics related to the job...skills, times needed, etc...

•  Student/Staff Training Resources- Student staff are a vital part of making our offices run effectively, and Career Services can help you get the importance of professionalism across to them.  Invite us over to do a Career Workshop on Professionalism  to meet the needs of your office.
