Before taking the FOCUS Career Assessment, please review these key points:

• We strongly advise that you make an appointment with a DSU Career Advisor to review your FOCUS results. Many questions and possibilities may surface throughout your career exploration process. Call 662-846-4646 for an appointment.
  
• Remember that there are no “right” or “wrong” answers. The FOCUS assessment is a tool that helps explore and clarify various dimensions of your own personal preferences.
  
• Similarly, the FOCUS assessment is not a crystal ball. It won’t provide the perfect course of study or compute your dream job description. However, it will assist students and employed adults by suggesting careers that match your interests, skills and work-related values.
