I came from a fairly small high school in Arkansas, and was hoping for a smooth academic transition. My freshman year was an absolutely wonderful experience.
It seems like just yesterday it was time to go to college. I was coming to Delta State to run Cross Country. I was so excited. I mean I had been looking forward to this huge step from day one in high school. Athletics was not the main reason I was coming to college; I was coming to get an education.
It will be comforting to know that no one truly knows what to expect when they are preparing for their first day of college life. I came from a fairly small high school in Arkansas, and was hoping for a smooth academic transition.
My freshman year was an absolutely wonderful experience. There was not one aspect of Delta State that I did not like. I got really involved in campus organizations and met a ton of people, and on top of all that I was making good grades. Always remember to make the parents happy!!
So if you are looking for a university, it is essential that you give Delta State University great consideration!
