Application Process
Long distance personal authorization codes are available to students. This code allows long distance calls to be placed from a campus telephone. A request for a code must be made in person. A student ID and a campus PO Box are required to establish a code. A long distance code request form can be obtained on this site or can be filled out in person at the time of request. An authorization code card, dialing instructions, and applicable information will be provided at the time of request. In most cases the new code can be turned on the same business day. Please refer to the rates section for applicable charges.

Billing Information
All long distance charges to a code will be billed to the student on the 24^th of each month. A billing statement will be sent to the campus PO Box provided at the time of established service. Payment can be made in person or by mail to the OIT Telecommunications Office, and is expected in full by the 10^th of the following month. If payment is not received the code can be turned off and a hold can be placed on your University account, preventing registration and the utilization of various University services.

Termination of Service
To turn off a personal long distance code, please come to the Telecommunications Office. An ID is required and payment of the remaining balance must be paid at that time. Additional charges that do not appear on the account at that time will be forwarded to the new address provided, and payment will be expected by the 10^th of the following month.

International calling rates may vary according to the country called. Please contact the OIT Telecommunications Office for a specific international rate.
