Long Distance

Application Process
Long distance access requires a departmental authorization code. A department can have multiple codes assigned to different faculty or staff members, or one code for multiple users. To request a new long distance authorization code, complete the request form and fax it to the OIT Telecom Office @ 4140, or send it via campus mail to DSU Box 3123. An authorization code card, dialing instructions, and applicable information will be sent to the requesting department via campus mail once the signed completed request form has been returned. Please refer to the rates section for calling fees.

Billing Information
All long distance code charges will be billed to the corresponding departments on the 24th of each month. Departments should alert the OIT Telecommunications Office of any disputes charges upon the receipt of the billing statement.
