All students interested in pursuing careers in health-related professions are invited to this important meeting with representatives from the various professional schools.
To provide its students with up-to-date information on various health professsions, Delta State's Division of Biological and Physical Sciences regularly invites admission counselors from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and other health professional schools to visit the campus and talk with pre-health majors. This meeting is an invaluable opportunity to get the latest information on the requirements and procedures regarding admission to health-related professional programs. It is also gives pre-health majors the chance to have their questions answered first hand by the very individuals who are responsible for making decisions on who will be accepted to the these programs.
All students planning to apply to professional school or even considering a career in a health field are urged to attend.
