Accounting Advisory Board

Purpose

To assist Delta State University and its Department of Accounting in producing high quality accounting graduates by:

Providing their advice on maintaining the baccalaureate and graduate curriculums to the needs of the accounting profession,

Assisting in the recruitment of high school and community college students, who will thrive in the rigors of the accounting programs,

Helping prepare students for job placement, business protocol, and community service,

Supporting the placement of students in rewarding career opportunities, and

Enabling the Accounting Faculty in their efforts to become the best teaching Department of Accounting in the Southeastern Region of the United States.
