Delta State University Choirs
The choral program at Delta State University features two large ensembles and a chamber choir, offering a variety of singing opportunities for both music majors and non-majors that cultivate vocal skills and performance. The choirs sing a wide range of repertoire from various styles and time periods. In the last few years, the DSU choirs have performed in several notable national and international venues, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Washington National Cathedral, and a ten-day tour of England. Plans are underway for a tour of Austria and the Czech Republic in May 2010, with performances in Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague. Since 2004, the choirs have released five compact disc recordings.
