The School of Nursing also provides a handbook to it's students. The handbook covers general policies and procedures regarding Delta State's nursing programs with specifics regarding undergraduate and graduate programs appropriately. Delta State Nursing Students are responsible for the content of this handbook and are encouraged to print a copy for personal reference.

The School of Nursing is a professional program and as such the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct are expected. Delta State University School of Nursing believes every nurse recognizes and accepts a specific obligation as a member of the professional community of nursing. The School of Nursing adheres to the Code of Conduct throughout all educational endeavors and activities. This code is based on the American Nurses’ Association Code of Ethics and is an integral part of student development and professional performance. Delta State Nursing Students are responsible for the content of this Code of Conduct and are encouraged to print a copy for personal reference.
