Dr. John Wojcik has joined the Delta State University music faculty as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Bands. Prior to coming to DSU, Dr. Wojcik was Director of Bands at Texas A & M-Corpus Christi where he was Director of Bands and the Instructor of Trumpet. From 1989 to 2001, Wojcik was Director of Bands at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Dr. Wojcik has also taught in the Oklahoma Public School System.

He received the Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Michigan State University, the Master of Music degree from the University of Oklahoma, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Kansas.
