MANAGEMENT
There are two tracks of study in the management major: management and international business and development. The management track is for students with a broad interest in management activities and problems. He or she pursues a program of study aimed at understanding planning, organizing, and controlling, which are the basic skills needed by managers. Emphasis is also placed on a knowledge of leadership styles and decision-making techniques. The systems concept is applied to the study of methods of coordinating available resources to achieve goals of the enterprise in the most effective manner.
Management Track
The management track prepares students to enter organizations as leaders, supervisors, and decision makers. This track provides students with many career possibilities including healthcare management, manufacturing, small business management, service industry management, retail management, quality management and human resource management, among many others.

International Business and Development Track
The international business and development track is designed to provide students with a solid educational foundation to enter the workforce and assist in the management needs of global industry.Through this track, students develop the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in international industries throughout numerous fields. The IBD track addresses the needs of global business and provides students with skills required to succeed and advance within international organizations. The courses in this program target issues and subjects relevant to global organizations.
An increasing number of organizations is choosing to provide their products and services to the world and as such the need for qualified graduates with a background in international business is growing.
