Delta State to host Janice Wyatt Summer Arts Institute campsSunday, May 31, 2009 The Janice Wyatt Mississippi Summer Arts Institute, under the direction of the Bologna Performing Arts Center, is preparing for its series of art camps in June and July. Applicants are still being accepted for all of the camps. Dates for the residential camps for ages 12-18 are as follows:
May 31-June 7: Creative Artists Theater/Sketch Comedy Workshop
May 31-June 27: Broadway/Guys and Dolls
June 7-June 20: Core Arts
July 12-18- Delta Music Institute (ages 15-18)
The Janice Wyatt Mississippi Summer Arts Institute will also host a performance based MSAI PLUS day-camp for ages 5-11. Campers will learn a choreographed medley of songs and attend related classes throughout the day. A performance is given at the end of each camp.
Dates for the MSAI PLUS day-camps are as follows:
July 6-11: PLUS One Camp
July 20-25: PLUS Two Camp
Content for each camp is the same, so choose the week that best suits your schedule.
