Delta Education Initiative
The Center is funded through a continuation grant awarded from the U. S.
Department of Education for the improvement of education in the Mississippi Delta.

PT3 - Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology PT3 grants has supported innovative programs to develop technology-proficient educators who are wellprepared to meet the needs of 21st century learners. DSU has won two levels of PT3 support: 1999-2000 capacity building - Delta InTech, and 2001-2004
implementation - Digital Learning Partners for the Integration of Technology.

Partnering Programs at DSU
The Delta Area Association for Improvement of Schools (DAAIS) is a regional consortium of educational institutions in the geographic region known as the Mississippi Delta which is committed to a policy of equal educational opportunities. Various educational opportunities for educators are sponsored by DAAIS.

SouthEast and Islands Regional Technology in Education Consortium

SEIRuTEC is funded by the U.S. Department of Education to support the use of technology for teaching and learning. This site provides information on propsal writing tools and links to web sites of funding entities in general and specific.
