Office 365 OkraMail Email
Delta State University OkraMail Microsoft Office 365 email account provides students with many features from Microsoft Office, including 50 Gigabytes of email storage, more security, 1 Terabyte of cloud storage, and the ability to download the entire Microsoft Office Suite on up to 5 of your personal devices for free.

Security PIN requirement on Mobile Devices
- If you already have a PIN to unlock your mobile device, you can still access to Delta State emails without making any security changes.
- If you do NOT have a PIN to unlock your mobile device, you will be required to set a PIN to unlock your phone to access Delta State emails.
Web access to Office 365 mailbox
- If you use webmail to access your email, you may be require to add additional security verification.
- When you access your email using office 365 – portal.office365.com
- Enter your full okramail address and password
- You will see a message “Additional Info Required,” click next
- You will have 3 different authentication options. Please setup at least one.
- Authentication by Phone
- Authentication by Email (You need to use a non-DSU email address to receive the security code)
- Security Questions
- Follow the instructions provided onscreen
- Click finish to login
For your mobile or cellular device
iPhone
- Tap Settings
- Tap Mail
- Select Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Exchange
- Enter your Email address, Password, and a short Description (e.g. your company’s name) for your email.
- Tap Next
- Auto discover will try to find the settings you need to configure for your account. If auto discover cannot find your settings, enter the following information:

- Server: outlook.office365.com
- Domain: Leave this field blank
- Username: Enter your full okramail address make sure that @okramail.deltastate.edu is included
(i.e. username@okramail.deltastate.edu)

- Tap Next
- Tap Save
TIP: If your account fails to access, please verify that your password is correct.
Once connected, return to the home screen and open the Mail app — you should see your email messages, in your new inbox. To make sure you can send messages, compose an email and send it to yourself.
Android Phones
There are many different versions of Android. We document the base version released by Google, so your device might have a slightly different set of fields.
- Tap Settings
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync or Corporate
- Enter your Email address and Password
- If you see a Domain\Username field, enter your full email address. (i.e. username@okramail.deltastate.edu)
If Domain and Username are separate fields, enter your full email address in Username and leave Domain blank. - If you see a Server field, enter outlook.office365.com
- Tap Next
- To complete auto configuration, tap OK
- Select the Account options you want to use. Selecting a longer sync period will show you more calendar information and email, and require more memory
- Tap Next
- Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, to see the display name for your email account

Your Office 365 email is now set up in your Android native mail app. To make sure you can send messages, compose an email and send it to yourself.
