Technology program for student success

The Office of Information Technology is offering the Partnership for Applying Technology to Help Students (PATHS) Program to empower university staff with information on campus technology services and resources.

The program will enable staff to better assist students and faculty with general questions regarding technology. The goal of the program is to bridge the gap between knowledge and need in order to promote student success with technology.

PATHS is designed for staff that work with faculty and students on a regular basis. They are often the first-responders that advise students on IT services, assist faculty with course content management and answer adjunct calls about access to IT support and services.

The program offers three days of workshops in a lunch-and-learn environment. Staff will participate 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in sessions on the topics including the learning management system, Banner software, security and mail merge. Lunch will be provided for the participants. The program will have three cohorts with groups of five in June, September and February.
