The Delta State University Department of Music will present Lindsey Roy in her junior vocalist recital on Thursday, April 23, at 1:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on campus.
Roy, a junior mezzo-soprano from Greenville, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Roy. She is a voice student under Dr. Mary Lenn Buchannan, professor of voice at Delta State.
Since entering Delta State in 2006, she has been involved with the DSU chorale, chamber singers, and the opera department. She was also chosen as one of the performers for Delta State’s Honor’s Recital.
Roy will perform works by Pasatieri, Mahler, Gounod, and others. Also featured on the program will be Sarah Green from Vicksburg, on bassoon. She is a student of Dr. Andrea Cheeseman,
