The Delta Review is an in-house production of the Bologna Performing Arts Center, which will be held Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.

You’ve seen these faces perform around the Delta, now come and enjoy your communities own local artists under one setting.  Why visit New York for a night of cultural enhancement when the Delta Review highlights your very own Delta artists right here in the Mississippi Delta.

This program will feature vocal performances by area Delta artists, or artists with Delta ties, rendered acoustically on the Delta Pine and Land main-stage.  The songs range from light classical (arias from beloved operas/operettas or art songs); Broadway show tunes; jazz, and classic rock-n-roll.  Instrumentals on acoustic guitar and piano will also be conducted.

These talented individuals will be performing selections from Operatic favorites such as Puccini’s O Mio Babbino Caro to Broadway musical hits such as “Fiddler on the Roof’s” If I Were a Rich Man, and top 40 sounds, such as Dionne Warwick’s Walk on By.

Show your appreciation for the arts and support for local talent by attending an afternoon of dancing, singing, and music for all ages. This Review highlights Delta artists in a wide-range performance, making this show the first of its kind in the area.
