A Pleasant Evening Out is a night of seven one-act plays by Dennis DiClaudio.
Meet Billy Liver, a young man born without any of his limbs and organs – except for his liver! Here’s a young stereo salesman – who is also a rhinoceros! There is also a woman who has an imaginary harelip, a boy who spent the first eighteen years of his life in a bubble due to a misdiagnosis, and a couple who are having a fight at a pier – while their feet are encased in buckets of cement.
And many more!
Dennis DiClaudio is the author of four books of humor and has been, most recently, the long-time editor of the Comedy Central political blog Indecision Forever. His books include The Hypochondriac’s Pocket Guide to Horrible Diseases You Probably Already Have and Man Vs. Weather.
