The Cleveland Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce has announced that Good Old Fashioned Day will take place on Saturday, May 31st in downtown Cleveland from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm.
The event celebrates the past with old fashioned games, food, and more and everything is free.
The day will include: Music at the Martin and Sue King Railroad Heritage Museum, mule drawn wagon rides, pony rides, kid’s games sponsored by C Spire, classic car show, exotic animal display, a scavenger hunt at downtown businesses, grand opening of this season’s farmer’s market (beginning at 9:00 am), boxcar races sponsored by Keep Cleveland Boring (at 11:00 am), old fashioned photo booth props (bring your own camera), and food!
Games scheduled for the event include horse shoes, croquet, checkers, sidewalk chalk, hula hoops, bean bag toss, jump rope and more. Many downtown merchants will also have food and/or games for the event.
