Candlelight Christmas Concert

The Delta State University Choirs will present the 2nd Annual Candlelight Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 7th at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, MS. Lewisburg High School Capriccio, Holmes Community College Concert Chorale, Delta Choral Union, and Delta Youth Chorale will join the Delta State Choirs in this performance of well-known holiday music. The concert opens with all 130 singers performing Of the Father’s Love Begotten together and will close with Silent Night sung by candlelight as it was at the first performance in Germany two centuries ago. As each choir leaves the stage the audience and choirs will sing Christmas Carols together in the spirit of communal singing. Please join us for this exciting choral concert!!
