February 19, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 8:00 am, repeating until February 23, 2018

In celebration of the Chinese New Year and The Year of the Dog, the University Archives has culled through its collection of images to find scenes depicting the lives of Delta Dogs. From hunting dogs to lap dogs, the images demonstrate the significant place man’s best friend has held over the years for many Deltans.

The gallery is free and open to the public.

To RSVP for the “Chinese New Year Cooking Demonstration & Tasting” please contact the University Archives with your name and number of guests attending by e-mailing (ejones@deltastate.edu) or calling 662.846.4781. Tickets to the demonstration & tasting are $8 per person.

This event is sponsored in part by the Delta State University QEP, the MS Humanities Council and the MS Delta Chinese Heritage Museum board.
This project was made possible by a grant from the Mississippi Humanities Council, through support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
