Delta State’s Continuing Education to offer Basic Life Support Certification Course for Healthcare Professionals and First Responders

Delta State University Continuing Education, in partnership with AirEvac Lifeteam, will offer a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification course for Healthcare Professionals and First Responders. In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals and first responders will learn to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR to victims of all ages, use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is designed for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals and first responders seeking first time certification or re-certification. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn the key changes in basic life support under the 2010 American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

Join the Air Evac Lifeteam instructors for this Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional and First Responders course. This course will meet Wednesday, October 10 from 8:30 a.m.-5:00p.m. in the H. L. Nowell Union, Room 302A on the Delta Statee campus. The cost is $20 per person or $15 per person for groups of 5 or more from the same organization. Certification cards will be issued for participants who successfully complete the course.
