Delta State’s Continuing Education offers new classes for November

Delta State’s Graduate and Continuing Studies will offer another round of new classes for November that includes Cake Decorating with Fondant and Gum Paste, Kids in the Kitchen, Holiday hors d’oeuvres, and Wine Pairing with Don Joe.

 
Cake Decorating with Fondant and Gum Paste:
The class under the instruction of Cathy Conico is scheduled to meet Saturday, Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the Ada Swindle Mitchell Food Lab, Room 149 of Ewing Hall.
 
Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch. Cost is $45 per person.
 
Kids in the Kitchen:
The class is for students in grades 1st – 6th.
 
Cam McMillen will be the instructor for the class scheduled to meet Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. – noon in the Ada Swindle Mitchell Food Lab, Room 149 of Ewing Hall.
 
Cost is $25 per person.
 
Holiday hors d’oeuvres:
Elizabeth Heiskell, Head Chef for the Viking Cooking School in Greenwood, will be the instructor for the demonstration class scheduled to meet Monday, Nov. 16, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Ada Swindle Mitchell Food Lab, Room 149 of Ewing Hall.
 
Participants will sample hors d’oeuvres and leave with great holiday recipes.
 
Cost is $25 per person.
 
Wine Pairing with Don Joe:
 
Don Joe will demonstrate how to select the perfect wine to compliment a meal Sunday, Nov. 22, from
6 to 8 p.m. at KCs Restaurant Cleveland.
 
Cost is $75 per person.
